Our friendly community managers initiate and support interest groups and activities to help build a sense of community and connection for homeowners. They’re our extremely helpful ‘mines’ of information and your point of contact for what’s going on. Importantly, our community staff are easily accessible, and you’ll find them in the centrally located office or out and about on the streets in a golf buggy.
Halcyon’s live-in caretakers look after the regular community maintenance, including the mowing of front lawns, pool cleaning and communal gardening.
Underpinning the Halcyon way of life are our Community Living Guidelines – which set out a common framework for safe and harmonious living.
Some of these are governed by the legislation we operate under while others are better described as part of the ‘social contract’ of living at Halcyon. This is the accepted social agreement or code of conduct that our homeowners want to live with and are comfortable to embrace.
