Study shows that older Australians are happier than most

A study has recently been released from the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS) outlining happiness levels at various stages of life.

The study in 2015 showed that happiness during phases including leaving the parental home, partnering, the birth of a child, separation, empty nesting, retirement, and widowhood.

To gather the results, AIFS tracked 27,000 Australians across 12 years as they moved through various stages of life.

Interestingly, older Australians are often the happiest of all.
