Stuart and Toni-Maree Eden’s move into the 200th home at Halcyon Glades started with an ‘undercover mission’ more than a decade ago.

It was 2008 and the Sunshine Coast couple first stepped inside a Halcyon community as secret shoppers at Halcyon Parks in Caloundra.

As they cast a critical eye over the community they were very impressed and could see  themselves living the Halcyon lifestyle.

However, their enthusiasm was tempered by the fact they were building a home in the picturesque Glasshouse Mountains at the time.

“We looked at each other said ‘we’d love to do this, it’s our sort of lifestyle but maybe ...

Bli Bli is now home to more than 7,000 residents and a spectacular new town centre thanks to its successful blend of thoughtful planning, unmatched connectivity, and lush river catchment.

They say life is like riding a bicycle: to stay balanced you must keep moving, and it couldn’t be truer for a group of cyclists at Halcyon Waters.

Known as the ‘Easy Riders’, these intrepid cyclists meet every Sunday and head off on all kinds of adventures.

The group has been cycling for six years and is run by four riders who plan and ride all trips in advance to ensure they are suitable for the whole group. They even have their own purpose-built trailer, which has added another dimension to their cycling adventures.

‘Cutting’ is a sweet spot for Landing’s ‘Farmers’

27 April 2018 | by Halcyon

Home owners at Halcyon Landing are tapping into Bli Bli’s agricultural roots with their rural revival of land adjoining an old Bli Bli cane train cutting.

The cutting, which traverses Peppercorn Hill, was originally excavated in 1941 and was later deepened to 10m to allow locomotives to carry greater loads of cane over the hill.

These days the area sits behind Landing’s community workshed, and the road leading up to the shed is aptly named Peppercorn Lane.

The area caught the attention of some of Landing’s more rural-inclined home owners who have begun transforming almost 2000sqm of unused land just south of the ...

Pimpama: From farmland to boom town

27 April 2018 | by Halcyon

A vibrant, connected and service-rich location is the backdrop for every Halcyon community, and the site of our latest project, Halcyon Greens at Pimpama, epitomises this philosophy.

While this spectacular 500-home community is surrounded by lush golf course fairways and a beautiful wetland conservation zone, it also sits at the heart of the Gold Coast’s latest boom town.

Located just east of the M1 and immediately north of Coomera, Pimpama was once a sleepy rural area dotted with farms and acreage properties.

Thanks to the meteoric rise of neighbouring Coomera and the city’s burgeoning population, Pimpama is firmly on the radars of government ...
