Former fireman and Halcyon Greens’ homeowner Graham Flack is doing his bit to raise much-needed funds for children who have had burn injuries.

“This is my ninth ride and we’ve raised approximately three-quarters of a million dollars so far,” Graham said.

Channel 9 Gold Coast even came along to Pimpama to help him and the fire crew from the local station to raise awareness for his big ride in Bike 4 Burns, run by the QLD Children’s Hospital.

Starting on 12th May, Graham and other riders from the Fire, Police and Ambulance departments will ride for 707km.

The ride goes for seven days with no rest, and is with 37 other riders, all riding to raise money for the charity.

Over the course of the week, the riders will travel through towns including Gympie, Murgon, Jandowne, Dalby, Millmerran, Allora, Ipswich and then to onto Southbank in Brisbane on the 18th May.
