Halcyon Rise's Tesla Model 3 is ready for new homeowners to hit the road
Halcyon's newest community will have its own Tesla as a shared car, ready for homeowners to book for local errands and daytrips.
Halcyon Rise at Logan Reserve is Halcyon's second community to have the cult electric car (after B by Halcyon in Buderim), which is in keeping with the company's commitment to lowering the carbon footprint and reducing power bills by providing energy efficient homes and shared facilities.
Project Director Glenn Nugent said having a community car will be beneficial to homeowners who may want to sell their car when they move in.
"For couples who have two cars, this is a great opportunity to be able to sell one and use the Tesla for those times they may need an extra car," he said. "This will save them a massive amount of money in running two cars as well as being able to experience driving a Tesla, which is pretty cool."
The Tesla Model 3 goes from 0-100km per hour in 3.4 seconds and can go 620km anywhere on a single battery charge.
The All-Wheel Drive has two independent motors for improved redundancy, each with only one moving part for minimal maintenance and maximum durability. Unlike traditional all-wheel drive systems, they digitally control torque to the front and rear wheels for far better handling and traction control.
The car is on location at the Halcyon Rise Welcome Centre, which is now open for business. Construction is well underway, with the community's first homeowners expected to move into their homes in early 2021.
Halcyon Rise is a stone’s throw from the M1 and Logan Motorways and a 30-minute drive from the bright lights of Brisbane and the sandy beaches of the Gold Coast.
The community has been thoughtfully master planned to reflect the rich history of the region and is overlooking 100 acres of parklands and nestled alongside the Logan River.
Halcyon Rise will feature quality homes built to Halcyon’s award-winning standard, but at our most affordable price range starting from $375,000.
