Australia’s most awarded over 50s lifestyle community developer Halcyon has started works on its next project, B by Halcyon, located on a rare parcel of level land near the foothills of Buderim Village.

The blue-chip 24-hectare site, located at 56-62 Whites Road will be developed into Buderim’s only lifestyle community and has been carefully designed to complement the natural beauty of the environment.

Sunshine Coast Council have approved the construction, which will feature lower density living and generous open space with six hectares of lakes and private walking tracks.

Halcyon has commenced the initial stage of the $200m project with first homes expected to be delivered in July 2020.

B by Halcyon will also feature 5-star health and wellness facilities including a 25-metre covered and heated magnesium salt pool with spa, outdoor resort pool, gymnasium and circuit room, yoga lawn, massage and therapy treatment rooms and beauty salon.

Also planned for the community is a Creative Arts Precinct which includes an art room, pottery workshop, music studio and work shed.

Halcyon Project Director Chris Carley said the unique Buderim site offered a rare opportunity for over 50s to secure a slice of paradise in the hugely popular urban centre.

“We have managed to piece together a very special piece of land which is located in the middle of the Coast and so close to Buderim Village, beaches’ and the new CBD of the Sunshine Coast,” Mr Carley said.

“With such an incredible location, adjacent to a rainforest landscape, the site demanded a design which would allow a community to interact with and embrace the natural environment for all its beauty.”

B by Halcyon is the fourth Halcyon community developed on the Sunshine Coast, launched off the back of highly successful Halcyon Lakeside at Bli Bli, which recently won Australia’s best lifestyle community, and is driving strong demand in the region.

“We’ve had a lot of interest, particularly from locals living near the community as well as attracting a lot of interstate enquiry from people looking to get in early to secure their future home sites prior to our planned launch in 2020,” Mr Carley said.
