Home owners had a splashing good time at the official opening of the new resort pool, cementing Halcyon Greens as the country’s biggest lifestyle.

Glenn Nugent, project director said the pool is the final piece of the puzzle for Stage 2 of the $15 million recreational precinct.

“The precinct is truly the heart of the community and we’re excited to open the impressive resort pool,” Glenn said.

“This is a place where home owners can socialise, relax, exercise and experience all that Halcyon Greens has to offer.

“We hope home owners spend many enjoyable years with family and friends around the pool.”

Home owner Peter Fahey moved to Halcyon Greens from Sydney last year, and said what had attracted him was the exciting lifestyle on offer.

“It’s like being a cruise ship without the ship and the water,” he said. “There’s lots of activities on offer and in actual fact, you can’t do everything all the time because there’s so much on!”

At the opening, home owners were treated to a special performance by three athletes from the Gold Coast Mermaids who are training hard to be selected in the Australian synchronised swimming team for the Tokyo Olympics, which starts in July this year.
