Strong demand for B by Halcyon
The first release of homes at B by Halcyon have been sold prior to the official launch of the Buderim community, the strong demand prompting Halcyon to fast-track the second release of homes.
The release will feature a range of large luxury one and two-storey designs with lifts and Halcyon’s range of eco-friendly initiatives. They were unveiled at the launch event at Lilies on the Lagoon, Twin Waters on 29 February.
Halcyon’s Joint Managing Director Dr Bevan Geissmann said the demand reflected the quality of the unique offering, which is the first of its kind to be built in Buderim.
“We’re very excited to be able to bring our passion and expertise in creating vibrant communities to this iconic town,” he said.
“B by Halcyon is our fourth community on the Sunshine Coast and what we’re creating will be something very special in terms of facilities, luxury homes and our commitment to sustainable living”
The blue-chip 42 hectare site located at 56-62 Whites Road has been carefully designed to complement the natural beauty of the environment.
Homeowners at B by Halcyon will be the first community in Australia to have a Tesla as its shared car.
The Model 3 Tesla with panoramic roof will sit at the community’s charging station for use by the homeowners.
Dr Geissmann said the Tesla car was one of many initiatives which cement Halcyon’s commitment to sustainability and lowering the carbon footprint.
“Together with partners such as Tesla, our homes are designed to meet an 8-star energy rating with environmentally sensitive materials including Hebel and steel, triple insulation as well as solar panels and solar hot water as standard”, he said.
B by Halcyon’s main recreation centre will also be powered by Tesla batteries, ensuring a more cost-effective and efficient use of energy.
Project Director Chris Carley said B by Halcyon has also received six-leaf Enviro Development certification from the Urban Development Industry Australia (UDIA).
This means the community has minimal impact on the environment, encourages safe, healthy and active lifestyles, and delivers lower household energy use and running costs,” Mr Carley said.
“Not only is it responsible to employ cutting-edge technology to ensure the community is energy efficient, it also saves homeowners a lot of money.”
B by Halcyon will feature six hectares of lakes and private open space less than 10 minutes from Sunshine Plaza. The community will have a sport and recreation precinct to include a Creative Arts pavilion as well as health and wellness precinct for fitness classes, a yoga lawn, gym, day spa, magnesium lap pool and beauty salon.
